はい。アプリ本体は無料で、サインアップも不要です。公式サイトは「Free without limits. No sign-up required. No strings attached.」と明記しており、ノートを書く・保管庫を作る・プラグインを使うといった基本機能に課金は必要ありません。
有料なのは複数端末同期のSync、ノートのWeb公開のPublish、支援ライセンスのCatalyst、組織利用向けの商用ライセンスという4つのオプションだけです。それぞれの現行価格は次の表のとおりです（2026年8月23日、公式サイトから直接取得）。
Yes. The core app is free, and no sign-up is required. The official site states plainly: "Free without limits. No sign-up required. No strings attached." Writing notes, creating vaults, and using plugins all cost nothing.
The only paid options are Sync (multi-device sync), Publish (publishing notes to the web), Catalyst (a support license), and a commercial license for organizational use. Current prices for each are in the table below (fetched directly from the official site on August 23, 2026).

- 学生・教員・非営利団体職員は40%割引。Sync・Publishが対象（公式FAQより。それ以外の割引・プロモーションは無いと明記されている）。40% discount for students, faculty, and nonprofit employees. Applies to Sync and Publish (per the official FAQ, which states no other discounts or promotions are offered).
- Sync・Publishは購入から7日以内なら無条件で全額返金。Catalystライセンス・商用ライセンス・Obsidian Creditは返金対象外。Sync and Publish offer a full, no-questions-asked refund within 7 days of purchase. Catalyst licenses, commercial licenses, and Obsidian Credit are non-refundable.
無料でどこまで使えるかWhat the free plan actually covers
ノート作成・編集、保管庫内の全機能、コミュニティプラグイン・テーマの導入（実測トップ10含む）、モバイル・デスクトップアプリ本体。データはローカル保存で、公式サイトはテレメトリ収集もしていないと明記している。Creating and editing notes, all in-vault features, installing community plugins and themes (including the measured top 10), and the mobile/desktop apps themselves. Data is stored locally, and the official site states it collects no telemetry.
複数端末での自動同期がしたい → Sync。ノートを公開サイトにしたい → Publish。開発を支援したい・ベータを試したい → Catalyst。組織での業務利用 → 商用ライセンス（推奨・必須ではない）。Want automatic sync across devices? Sync. Want to publish notes as a public site? Publish. Want to support development or try betas? Catalyst. Using it at work in an organization? A commercial license (recommended, not required).
Obsidianが無料な一方、届く場所が要るObsidian is free — but you still need a way in
Obsidian自体の料金がいくらであっても、思いついたことをその場でノートにできなければ意味がありません。Obsidian連携シンプルメモは、送信したメモを自分宛メールに残しつつ、iCloud Drive上の保管庫フォルダのデイリーノートへ直接追記します。Sync課金の有無に関係なく、保管庫のあるフォルダに届きます。Whatever Obsidian itself costs, none of it matters if a passing thought never makes it into a note. Simple Memo emails each note to you and appends it straight into the daily note inside your vault folder on iCloud Drive — landing in your vault's folder regardless of whether you pay for Sync.

計測日: 2026年8月23日。価格・割引・返金規定はobsidian.md/pricingを本セッションから直接HTTP取得（HTTP 200）し、掲載テキストをそのまま書き起こしました。円換算はECB基準レート（$1=¥158.7、2026年8月21日付、Frankfurter API経由で取得）による単純計算で、実際の決済レートとは異なります。App Store課金でのSync/Publish購入や、Obsidian Sync/Publishの実機動作検証はこの環境では行っていません（クレジットカードが要る決済フローのため）。過去の価格からの変動履歴は、この環境で検証できる一次資料が無いため扱っていません。なお2026年8月21日時点では同一の外部ドメインがこのリポジトリのCCR実行環境からブロックされていましたが、本セッション（GitHub Actions環境）ではobsidian.mdへの直接アクセスが可能でした。Measured August 23, 2026.
