Setup Steps (5 Steps)

  1. Verify your custom domain email works
    Send a test email to your custom domain address (e.g., yourname@company.com) and confirm it arrives. For newly configured addresses, verify that DNS settings (MX records) are correctly propagated.
  2. Download the app and open Settings
    Search "Simple Memo Fast" on the App Store, or use this direct link. Once installed, tap the gear icon in the bottom-right corner to open Settings.
  3. Enter your custom domain email address
    In the "Destination Email" field, type your custom domain address (e.g., yourname@company.com). Then tap "Send Verification Code."
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from your email
    Check your custom domain mailbox for the verification email. Look in Spam or Quarantine folders if needed. Enter the 6-digit code in the app and tap "Verify."
  5. Set up email rules to organize memos
    In your email client (Gmail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.), create a filter or rule for emails from noreply@simplememofast.com. Auto-move them to a "Memos" folder or label. Your professional memo workflow is now complete.

Tips: Organizing Memos with Custom Domain Email

Tip 1 — Whitelist the Sender

Corporate email servers often have strict spam filters or quarantine systems. Ask your IT admin to whitelist noreply@simplememofast.com to ensure verification codes and memos arrive reliably.

Tip 2 — Google Workspace Setup

If you use Google Workspace, create a Gmail filter with "from:noreply@simplememofast.com" to auto-label memos with a "Memos" label. You can also auto-star them to flag action items in your inbox.

Tip 3 — Microsoft 365 Setup

For Microsoft 365, create an Outlook rule to auto-move emails from the sender to a "Memos" folder. If Focused Inbox is enabled, move the first memo to "Focused" to train the classifier.

Troubleshooting

Verification code not arriving (corporate email)

Corporate email servers may block external emails through spam filters, quarantine systems, or security gateways. Ask your IT admin to whitelist noreply@simplememofast.com. We recommend testing with a personal email (e.g., Gmail) first to verify the app works.

Emails not arriving on shared hosting providers

Shared hosting email services may have aggressive spam filters. Check your hosting control panel for spam settings and add simplememofast.com to your allowed senders list.

Receiving email on a custom domain requires correct MX records. If you can receive other emails but not from Simple Memo, the issue is likely sender blocking rather than DNS configuration.

Can I send memos to multiple email addresses?

Currently, Simple Memo supports one destination email at a time. You can change the destination anytime in Settings, allowing you to switch between work and personal addresses as needed.
